  • Tapestry needle

Body:

  1. Make a magic ring with the green yarn.
  2. Crochet 6 single crochets (sc) into the magic ring and pull tight to close the ring.
  3. Increase by crocheting 2 sc in each stitch around. You should now have 12 sc.
  4. Continue crocheting in sc around, increasing by 1 sc in each stitch around. You should now have 18 sc.
  5. Continue crocheting in SC around without increasing for 10 rounds.
  6. Stuff the body firmly as you go.
  7. Decrease by crocheting 2 sc together around. You should now have 12 sc.
  8. Decrease by crocheting 2 sc together around. You should now have 6 sc.
  9. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Legs (make 4):

  1. Make a magic ring with the green yarn.
  2. Crochet 6 sc into the magic ring and pull tight to close the ring.
  3. Increase by crocheting 2 sc in each stitch around. You should now have 12 sc.
  4. Continue crocheting in SC around without increasing for 6 rounds.
  5. Stuff the leg firmly.
  6. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Head:

  1. Make a magic ring with the green yarn.
  2. Crochet 6 sc into the magic ring and pull tight to close the ring.
  3. Increase by crocheting 2 sc in each stitch around. You should now have 12 sc.
  4. Continue crocheting in sc around, increasing by 1 sc in each stitch around. You should now have 18 sc.
  5. Continue crocheting in SC around without increasing for 8 rounds.
  6. Change to the white yarn and crochet 1 round in SC without increasing.
  7. Stuff the head firmly.
  8. Decrease by crocheting 2 sc together around. You should now have 12 sc.
  9. Decrease by crocheting 2 sc together around. You should now have 6 sc.
  10. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Belly:

  1. With the white yarn, make a chain of stitches that goes around the base of the head opening.
  2. Single crochet (sc) into the back loops of the chain stitches to join the belly to the head.
  3. Continue crocheting in SC around the opening, increasing as needed to fit the head.
  4. Crochet in sc around for 2-3 rounds without increasing.
  5. Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Eyes:

  1. Make a magic ring with the white yarn.

  2. Crochet 3 into the magic ring and pull tight to close the ring.

  3. Increase by crocheting 2 sc in each stitch around. You should now have 6 sc.

  4. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

  5. Repeat to make the second eye.

Mouth:
