Base:
- Start with a magic ring and chain 4.

Top:
- Work 1 DC in each DC around, join with an sl st to the top of the first DC.
- Place a stitch marker.
- Chain 2 (counts as first dc), work 1 dc in each dc around, join with a sl st to the top of the first dc.
- Repeat round 2 until the top measures approximately 14” or 2” smaller than your pillow insert.
Finishing:
- Weave in all ends.
