  2. Increase. In the next round, crochet 2 sc in each stitch around (12 sc total).
  3. Continue crocheting in rounds. In the next round, crochet 1 sc in the first stitch, then 2 sc in the next stitch. Repeat this around, crocheting 1 sc in one stitch and 2 sc in the next, until you have completed the round (18 sc total).
  4. Continue increasing. In the next round, crochet 1 sc in the first two stitches, then 2 sc in the next stitch. Repeat this around, crocheting 1 sc in two stitches and 2 sc in the next stitch, until you have completed the round (24 sc total).
  5. Crochet rounds without increasing. Crochet 12 rounds of 24 sc each.
  6. Stuff the body. Gently stuff the body with stuffing until it is firm but still soft.
  7. Decrease. Crochet 3 rounds, decreasing by 1 stitch each round. To make a decrease, crochet the two stitches together as one sc. (Rounds: 21 sc, 18 sc, 15 sc)
  8. Close the body. Crochet one round of 12 sc, then fasten off and weave in the ends.
