  • Brown yarn (worsted weight, about 100 yards)
  • Black yarn (worsted weight, about 50 yards)
  • Crochet hook size H (5.00 mm)
  • 12 mm safety eyes
  • Fiberfill stuffing
  • Tapestry needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Scissors

Gauge: 18 stitches and 22 rows in single crochet equal 4 inches

Finished size: About 8 inches tall

Step by step Pattern 

Head and body:

Ears:

Legs:

  • With brown yarn, make a magic ring.
  • Crochet 6 sc in the ring. Do not join.
  • Place a stitch marker in the first sc.
  • Sc in each stitch around. Join with a sl st to the first sc, being careful not to twist. (6 sc)
  • Increase 6 stitches evenly around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (12 sc)
  • Sc in the next 2 stitches, increase 1 stitch around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (18 sc)
  • Sc in the next 3 stitches, increase 1 stitch around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (24 sc)
  • Sc in the next 4 stitches, increase 1 stitch around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (30 sc)
  • Sc in each stitch around for 6 rounds. (30 sc)
  • Sc in the next 4 stitches, decrease 1 stitch around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (26 sc)
  • Sc in the next 3 stitches, decrease 1 stitch around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (22 sc)
  • Sc in the next 2 stitches, decrease 1 stitch around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (18 sc)
  • Stuff the leg firmly with fiberfill.
  • Sc in the next stitch, decrease 1 stitch 9 times around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (9 sc)
  • Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
  • Make another leg the same way.

Arms:

  • Make the arms the same way as the legs, but only increase for 4 rounds instead of 6. Stuff lightly.

Robe:

  • With brown yarn, chain 30.
  • Sc in the second chain from the hook and in each remaining chain. Turn. (29 sc)
  • Ch 2, sc in each stitch. Turn. (29 sc)
  • Repeat the previous row 13 more times. (29 sc x 15 rows)
  • Ch 2, sc in the first 15 stitches, skip the next 3 stitches, sc in the next 9 stitches. Turn. (27 sc)
  • Ch 2, sc in each stitch. Turn. (27 sc)
  • Repeat the previous 2 rows 5 more times. (27 sc x 7 rows)
  • Ch 2, sc in the first 13 stitches, skip the next 5 stitches, sc in the next 7 stitches. Turn. (25 sc)
  • Ch 2, sc in each stitch. Turn. (25 sc)
  • Repeat the previous 2 rows 4 more times. (25 sc x 6 rows)
  • Ch 2, sc in the first 11 stitches, skip the next 7 stitches, sc in the next 5 stitches. Turn. (23 sc)
  • Ch 2, sc in each stitch. Turn. (23 sc)
  • Repeat the previous 2 rows 3 more times. (23 sc x 5 rows)
  • Ch 2, sc in the first 9 stitches, skip the next 9 stitches, sc in the next 3 stitches. Turn. (21 sc)
  • Ch 2, sc in each stitch. Turn. (21 sc)
  • Repeat the previous 2 rows 2 more times. (21 sc x 4 rows)
  • Ch 2, sc in the first 7 stitches, skip the next 11 stitches, sc in the next 2 stitches. Turn. (19 sc)
