What is Post of A Stitch?
Post is the straight portion of a stitch under the top loops. Working from front or behind double crochet is called front or back post double crochet stitches.
How To Front Post And Back Post Stitches
Front Post Double Crochet: The front post double crochet begins with a yarn over, followed by inserting your hook from front to back and then again to the front around the post of a stitch from the previous row. Pull up a loop and then carry out a standard double crochet by yarning over and pulling through two loops twice. This creates a raised stitch on the front of your work.
